The Titans, sometimes used interchangeably with Arnor (which would later refer to the younger titans), were a category of beings that inhabited their own world also sometimes referred to as Arnor which would be trapped in a pocket universe by The Bane, with a few escaping to the world of elemental. The Titans, unlike Men, were not true independent lifeforms but rather extensions of their creator, Draginol, who designed them as tools to shape the universe how he wished.
Dred'nir
The first Titans created by Draginol were the Dred'nir. Draginol created the Dred'nir in an earnest attempt to create new life in his own image, complete with more power than his later creations along with the perception of time that had alienated Draginol from the Mithrilar.
The Dred'nir would later be known as the Dread Lords, a name given by the Iconians, the servant race they uplifted from the native fauna of their planet, after the Dred'nir gave sentience to the Yor, the machine race the Iconians created to do all of their menial labor.
The Dred'nir were also the creators of the Snathi.
Elas'nir
After roughly one hundred attempts to create new life with the Telenanth, Draginol shifted his focus to creating less powerful and less sentient beings to serve as tools to shape the universe and the life that would arise within it in his image. This younger, less sophisticated stock would be known as the Elas'nir, and were notably distinct from their Dred'nir brethren due to their lack of perception of time.
Just as with Mithrilar and Draginol, the Elas'nir and the Dred'nir's difference in perspective would put them at odds and eventually break into civil war after the Dred'nir began subjugating the Elas'nir as their inferiors. The Elas'nir would eventually become known as the Arnor.
Fledgelings
The last of the Titans created were orders of magnitude less powerful than even the Elas'nir, comparable in ability to mortal Men. These meager beings were known informally as fledgelings. Those that allied themselves with the Dread Lords would become known as the Dread Nights, whereas the fledgelings that allied themselves with the likes of Pariden and Tandis were just known as Arnor, viewed as no different in personhood from their Elas'nir older siblings.
